Leveraging Daikin's advanced technology, the new design supports up to 361 ft. (110 m) of vertical separation, equivalent to approximately 30 floors, and opens up possibilities for addressing buildings up to 720 ft. (equivalent to approximately 60 floors) when units are placed both on the roof and at the base of the building.

- Low ambient cooling operation down to -4°F (-20°C) with a field setting and the addition of wind covers. (Only with safety shut off valves for heat pump models)
- Expanded heating operation down to -22°F as standard
- New, improved D4 net provides faster communication speeds and larger data volume, compared to the D3 net, with up to 30 times the amount of data compared to D3 net
- Reduced installation and commissioning time through auto addressing feature with D4 communications protocol
- R-32 system provides lower global warming potential (GWP) refrigerant along with improved efficiency and requires lower total system charge compared to previous R-410A systems with equivalent capacity and indoor unit match **
