Perfecting The Air We Share

Daikin is investing in technologies that help improve indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and sustainability to benefit society for today and tomorrow.

Improving Comfort Through Innovation

The people of Daikin are always striving to elevate efficiency and sustainability in our home heating and cooling solutions for people around the world.

Adaptive Inverters

Inverter technology allows an air conditioner or heat pump system to ramp up slowly and vary its compressor motor speed to meet the precise set temperature of a home—reducing wasted energy and operating noises compared to non-inverter systems.

Sustainable Heat Pumps

Energy-efficient Daikin Heat Pumps with adaptive inverter technology are designed to maintain consistent and precise temperatures, adjusting hundreds of parameters to avoid uncomfortable temperature swings, hot spots, and cold drafts.

Low Global Warming Potential R-32 Refrigerant

The R-32 refrigerant is a significant advancement in sustainability for HVAC systems. This globally proven refrigerant has been used in over 280 million units worldwide. It is efficient at transferring heat. For example, the Daikin ATMOSPHERA with R-32 has up to 12% more cooling efficiency and up to 18% more heating efficiency than comparable R-410A LV Series systems.

VRV Systems for Commercial Spaces

Daikin invented Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) technology in 1982, revolutionizing the HVAC market. VRV technology circulates only the minimum amount of refrigerant from the outdoor unit to multiple indoor units, providing efficiency, individual user control, and reliability in one package.
